When Anna Reznik and Alexei Kremnev left the Cincinnati Ballet last fall citing creative and personnel differences with artistic director Victoria Morgan, the talented couple did not want for work or performing opportunities. While Lorna Feijoo and Nelson Madrigal, principals from the National Ballet of Cuba, prepare to make their debuts as replacement for the Russian couple in Cincinnati Ballet concerts Friday and Saturday, Ms. Reznik and Kremnev have been busy.

They already have secured positions with Northern Kentucky University and the "ballet tech ohio" company.

Ballet tech spokeswoman Marvel Gentry Davis said the couple not only is teaching ballet at NKU but also is teaching classes in ballet tech's dance studio in Cmcinnati.

Ms. Reznik and Kremnev, who in their four seasons with the Cincinnati Ballet were regarded, as two of the most accomplished principal dancers in the past 25 years, are also performing with ballet tech ohio.

They will soon dance Frederick Ashton's 1960 recreation of the late 18th century ballet, "La Fille Mal Gardee."

Performances of the ballet will be April 5-6 at the Jarson Kaplan Theater, downtown.

On June 14-15, Ms. Reznik and Kremnev will perform the ballet "Dances on a Blue Planet" in the Jarson-Kaplan.

Ms. Davis said Kremnev also will produce a "Gala of International Ballet Stars." The concert will be at the Aronoff Center on Aug. 10. Artists have not been announced.

Ballet tech ohio, a company founded by Claudia Rudolf Barrett in 1997, has a mission to give performance opportunities to developing Cincinnati dancers. Processional dancers also perform.

Ms. Reznik and Kremnev opened ballet tech's season last fall in the ballet "The Spirit to Dance."
